چکیده
Heavy metals in ocean water which cause hazardous impact to the marine organisms. Effluent discharges from industries such as metal processing, paints and pigment production, biocides production through domestic sewage nearby villages. Toxic cadmium (Cd), Cr, copper (Cu), mercury (Hg), zinc (Zn) emanate these polluting seawater paving way for many serious problems we face today. The current study focuses on distribution of heavy between October 2016 March 2017 coastal waters Tranquebar, Poraiyar, Kottucherry, Karaikal, off southeast coast India. Four including Cd, Cu, Hg, Zn were analyzed by a microwave assisted digestion atomic absorption spectrophotometer. These comments subsequent considerations this help manage pollution wild industrial sources into aquatic environments. Hence, regions needed throughout impoundment.

Bay of Bengal (BOB) is a semi enclosed tropical basin located in the north eastern part of the Indian Ocean with high influence of fresh water discharge from major rivers and rainfall. Bay of Bengal (BOB) is highly influenced by monsoons and represents a natural laboratory to study the effect of fresh water fluxes on the marine ecosystem. Bay of Bengal (BOB) is very low in productivity often wi...

In this data, the heavy metal concentration and magnetic susceptibility in coastal sediment samples collected from Periyakalapet to Parangaipettai of East Coast of Tamilnadu using Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) technique and dual frequency susceptibility meter. We aimed to (i) determine the heavy metal concentration in the sediments from Periyakalapet to Parangaipettai of East Coa...
متن کاملHeavy Metals Accumulation in Five Commercially Important Fishes of Parangipettai, Southeast Coast of India
Investigations on the accumulation of heavy metals five of the most commercially important fishes in the Parangipettai coastal waters were selected and analyzed for the Zn, Pb, Cr, Co and Cd concentrations in the muscles. The results revealed that the Cr and Zn concentrations were the highest; followed by Pb<Cd<Co being the lowest in the five species of fish tissue. The muscle concentrations of...
